Face care products:
Face creams are generally prepared in two basic formulations as oil-in-water o / w or water-in-oil w / o. Products in the W / o formulation leave a warm and oily effect when applied to the face. These are more suitable for dry skin, and also beautifying and restorative care products are prepared in this way. The ones in the O / w formulation are products that create a cooling feeling on the skin and do not give an oily appearance. Usually, daily moisturizers and care products are prepared this way. Daytime moisturizers are thinner and contain mineral oil, propylene glycol and water. Night creams are thicker and contain mineral oil, lanolin alcohol, petroleum jelly and water.
Leather Care The difference of skin care products in this category is formed by the different fragrances, exotic oils, vitamins, proteins and amino acids added to the products. In addition, moisturizers and skin care products
are prepared and produced in accordance with the skin type (oily, normal, dry).
Care of normal and low-oily skin:
Leather Care Products used for this purpose usually contain water, mineral oils, propylene glycol and very small amounts of petroleum jelly or lanolin. If sunscreens are added to such moisturizers (cinnamat is the most common), these products can be used to prevent both anti-wrinkle (Anti-Wrinkle Daily Moisture Cream / Lotion), protective (Multi-Protective Day Cream / Immunage UV Defense Cream), or sports creams (Sportwear). Tinted Day Cream).
Care of oily skin:
It is naturally done with products that do not contain oil or contain a small amount of light oils. They mainly contain water and propylene glycol. In addition, these products should be noncomedogenic (preventing blackheads) and should not create shine on the skin. For this purpose, oil absorbing substances such as powder, starch and clay are added to some products prepared for oily skin. These types of products are generally available in the market as (Oil Control Moisture Cream / Lotion) Leather Care .
Care of dry skin:
It should be done with the most suitable moisturizing and care products. Wrinkles, dandruff and sometimes itching due to dehydration in the skin often force these people to apply a cream on their faces. However, the propylene glycol contained in most moisturizing products causes a burning and stinging sensation in cases where the integrity of the skin is impaired due to primary irritation (primary irritation effect). Generally, this situation is considered as an allergic reaction and it puts the person into different searches. However, this situation, which is a mild irritant contact dermatitis (skin reaction due to date), will disappear with the use of a product that does not contain propylene glycol. Other additives that can cause such inflammation in the skin are benzoic acid, cinnamic acid compounds, lactic acid, urea, formaldehyde and sorbic acid.
Leather Care of mature skin: Usually, besides appropriate moisturizers, it should be done with care products that add some substances that provide a regulating, regenerating and beautifying effect on the skin. Moisturizers used in mature skin contain water, mineral oil, propylene glycol and more petroleum jelly or lanolin. There are many additives in the products used for maintenance purposes. The most popular of these additives are collagen / collagen amino acids, keratin / keratin amino acids. In addition, hydrolyzed proteins, elastins and mucopolysaccharides are widely used (Age Zone Night Energizer, Anti-Age Daytime Skin Treatment, Colagen Complex Lotion). Some products contain squalene, a natural body oil (Triple Creme Skin Rehydrator).
Hyaluronic acid, which has a dermal collagen regulating and strengthening effect, is added to some products (Night Repair Cellular Recovery Complex). Vitamins are another additive commonly used in face care creams. Often pantothenic acid or vitamin B complexes are used in different chemical forms (panthenol, panthetin, pangamic acid). Although the penetration of B vitamins into the skin is controversial, bee pollen and gel containing high B vitamins are included in some special products. Vitamins A, C and D are also included in some creams, but the benefit of topical vitamins has not been proven. Vitamin E, on the other hand, is included in many cosmetic products as an antioxidant-effective additive to increase percutaneous absorption (absorption from the skin).Although its medicinal benefits have not been proven in recent years, marine plant extracts are also widely used in some special and expensive care products.
In some of the products in this group, active ingredients are transported by liposomes. As is known, liposomes are double-membrane vesicular structures composed of various phospholipids. They are in natural, synthetic or semi-synthetic form. They are generally used in synthetic form in cosmetic products. Membranes st. Corneum is very similar to intermediate lipids and because of their small molecular structure, they easily penetrate the skin. The main reason why it is used in cosmetology is that active ingredients enriched with liposomes in care products can be transported to deeper layers in a short time and in an even distribution.
Care of aged skin:
Some significant changes occur in the skin with advancing age. Epidermal and dermal thinning, prolongation of the epidermal regeneration process, decrease in the number and activities of epidermal and dermal cells, as well as mucopolysaccharides such as glycosaminoglycan and proteoglycans that form the basic structure. The amount of collagen fibers decreases and its structure deteriorates. Thickening and splits occur in elastic fibers. As a result, the skin becomes wrinkled, sagged and wrinkled. This condition, known as intrinsic or true aging, is a natural process planned with genes and cannot be prevented. However, it is known that various environmental factors increase, accelerate or initiate this natural process early. Solar radiation (UV) is the leading environmental factor that accelerates skin aging.
It occurs with the destruction of elastic fibers in the deep and upper dermis in the earlier period. Thickening, coarsening and deeper wrinkles occur in the skin. In addition to these findings, dry skin, actinic keratosis, irregular pigmentation, lentigines, telangiectasias and sebaceous hyperplasia are seen. Photoaging is the most important cause of age-related cosmetic problems and can be prevented. The easiest and safest way to prevent photoaging is to regularly use suitable moisturizers that include sun cover from an early age. Physical day covers containing titanium dioxide, talc, kaolin and similar materials fulfill their protection function by diffusing and reflecting visible light along with UV, but their use is limited. Chemical drapes containing benzophenone derivatives and cinnamate are more suitable for cosmetic use.Their strength can be increased with carriers that adhere well to the skin and do not come off with water. In summer, covers with high protection factor (SPF 15-30) should be used.
Today, it is possible to eliminate or regress the unwanted symptoms of developing photoaging with some methods. Topical use of creams, gels and solutions containing tretinoin is the most effective and safe of these methods. It reduces epidermal thinning by causing proliferation in keratinocytes and therefore provides a significant improvement in wrinkles. This objective improvement in wrinkles after 2-4 days of treatment. It starts in the month of 8-9. reaches the highest level in a month.
Alpha-Hydroxy-Acid (AHA) is a keratinization regulating agent. St. It reduces the cohesion in the upper skin layer cells in the upper part of the granulosum. Epidermal thickening provides an increase in mucopolysaccharides, especially in the papillary dermis, order in elastic fibers and an increase in collagen density. Used in low concentrations (3-11%) in cosmetic skin care products. It is used in chemical peeling of the skin in high concentrations (20-90%). Chemical peeling is one of the most popular cosmetic applications recommended for the removal of superficial acne scars, seborrheic keratoses and pigment spots as well as superficial wrinkles. Its most important advantage is that it does not cause inflammation and irritation, but as a side effect, hyperpigmentation (darkening of the skin color) may develop, especially when applied in summer.
